Nicole C. Wright, PhD MPH
Dr. Wright is an Associate professor in the Department of Epidemiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She earned her Doctorate and MPH from the University of Arizona.
Her research focuses on musculoskeletal epidemiology, particularly osteoporosis, bone health outcomes research, and racial disparities in osteoporosis and its management. She is one of the national experts defining the national prevalence of osteoporosis and fragility fractures.
Dr. Wright has worked on several NIH and industry-supported studies, including intervention projects aimed to improving osteoporosis knowledge and patient activation, creation and validation of administrative claim-based algorithms of osteoporosis related outcomes, and evaluating the role a myriad of risk factors related to bone mineral density and fractures in longitudinal osteoporosis cohorts. Dr. Wright has received numerous awards, is well published in prominent journals in the bone field, and is a rising leader both at her institution and her professional society.
Taylor Stair
Taylor is a data analyst at National Minority Quality Forum. He works with our clients and working group members on index development in support of health equity advocacy, policy and operational work, including ways to build more representative clinical trials. He is also responsible for overseeing much of NMQF's data infrastructure resources. Much of his professional experience is in developing data pipelines in service of creating digestible, visual data products for end users.
Shannon Finley
Shannon Finley is a founding partner of Capitol Counsel, LLC. She brings to the firm over two decades of experience in politics and strategy in Washington, D.C. Finley is known for her strategic counsel on issues ranging from tax to health and politics. Her client base cuts across industries and includes key trade associations, Fortune 100 corporations, non-profits, and issue-based coalitions. Finley has led numerous successful legislative campaigns on behalf of clients that have frequently resulted in landmark legislation, in addition to being equally adept at running diverse coalitions, as evidenced by many successful campaigns.

Mia Keeys, MPH, DrPH(c)
In April 2017, The National Minority Quality Forum recognized Mia as a 40 Under 40 Leader in Minority Health. The Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences features Mia's children's book on health equity-titled Cole Blue, Full of Valor-in their national archives, "Visualizing Health Equity." Mia has been a Kaiser Family Foundation Barbara Jordan Health Policy Scholar; a Fellow for the City of Philadelphia in the Deputy Mayor's Office for Health and Opportunity; and an HIV/AIDS researcher in South Africa. Mia was also a U.S. Fulbright Fellow to Indonesia, where she lived and worked in various teaching, public health service and research capacities for three years, while simultaneously learning the national language, Bahasa Indonesian.
Mia holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Psychology from Cheyney University, and a Master of Arts degree in Medical Sociology from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, where she was also a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health Policy Fellow at Meharry Medical College. Mia is also a creative non-fiction writer, with training from the University of Oxford. Originally from Philadelphia, PA, Mia has been featured on a TEDx Talk, "The Racial Imagination Quotient."
